I stayed in a single room at Hotel Dakota and it was cozy and comfortable. The bed was really comfy and the satellite TV was a nice touch. The room also had a private bathroom, which was convenient.

I didn't really enjoy the fact that there was no balcony in my room. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The location in the center of Meiringen near the station was convenient. The hotel had free safe parking for a motorbike, which was great. The staff were friendly and efficient. The wide selection for breakfast was impressive. The hotel also had a good on-site restaurant. The air conditioning was a bonus.

The room was awesome, with a view that made our jaws drop. We hiked like crazy in the beautiful surroundings and rented ski equipment to hit the slopes. Plus, the location was spot on, close to Brünig Pass and Brienz Ferry Terminal. We can't wait to come back!
